3 new shops to try on Larchmont

By Ria ’26 and Cara ’26

From food, drinks, desserts, clothes, makeup and much more, Larchmont truly holds all our needs. However, it is still beyond exciting when Larchmont opens new shops and restaurants that we can all try. In late February and early March, we were provided with this joy and excitement when three new and exciting places opened on Larchmont, leaving us all wanting to try them. Holey Grail Donuts, Boba the Great and Credo represent the diversity of all of the different types of shops on Larchmont as well as the high-quality stores that Larchmont provides. Continue reading to learn more about these three new shops and why we highly recommend giving them all a try!

Holey Grail Donuts

At Marlborough, we all love a good donut and the new opening of Holey Grail Donuts on Larchmont has just what you need. When you think of donuts, the classic Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donut might come to mind, but Holey Grail takes donuts to the next level. They use superfood taro as the base for their dough compared to other popular shops that use a flour-based dough.

Each doughnut is fried in coconut oil and made to order so your donut comes out hot and freshly fried. The shop incorporates weekly flavors that come from around the world such as dragonfruit and black sesame to introduce more diversity into our taste palettes. Their packaging is 100% compostable as they work to highlight the sustainability aspects of the company. Holey Grail has locations ranging from Kauai, Oahu and of course, the new and upcoming location on Larchmont. Their donuts are not the only thing to try, but the drinks are unmatched as they make all their drinks with homemade cashew coconut milk and make unique drinks such as the Blue Lotus Chai or the Mizuba matcha. Overall, this new local shop is a must when making your weekly Larchmont errands for the original and diverse flavors of the donut choices.

Boba the Great

One thing that we all know about Marlborough is that we love boba. The joy that fills the air when we learn of boba being a potential secret snack or a friend ordering right before the late bus is unmatched. We all know how disappointing it is when you’re craving this delicious treat, but can’t leave school and your favorite shop is out of delivery range.

However, Boba the Great provides us with the perfect solution. Boba the Great opened on Larchmont in March and is already a hit with many Marlborough students rushing to get a drink after school. Their boba is the perfect texture while being soft and chewy, and their staff is very nice. Boba the Great’s menu currently features different fruit-flavored black and jasmine teas as well as black and jasmine milk teas, matcha lattes and a fan-favorite drink, the pina colada. In addition, their interior provides a calm and relaxing atmosphere for enjoying your refreshing drink after a long day at school. All in all, Boba the Great is a place you must try when taking a trip to Larchmontor craving a refreshing drink.

Credo

Credo is a brand that sells products ranging from skincare to makeup, their products, to fragrances. Credo works to carry brands that value ethics, sustainability and the use ofclean ingredients. They create a list, “The Dirty List,” naming over 2700 chemicals and work to carry products that don’t include anything on the list.

Some of the brands we know and love are carried at the new Larchmont location such as Kosas, Ilia and Youthforia. The Credo shop at Larchmont is classy, modern and timeless. The shop is definitely one to check out when looking for new makeup or skincare products, specifically when keeping sustainability and ethics in mind.
