Sophomore Madeline’s photo “Firelight on the Lagoon,” taken during a summer vacation in Venice, won a photo contest held by the restaurant Milk on Beverly Blvd. The photo, which captured a fireworks display over the famous canals, is currently on display in the restaurant.
