I’m sure most of you have heard by now that the very popular show, New Girl, is back! Its first season was a hit and starred Zooey Deschanel as Jess, Jake Johnson as Nick, Max Greenfield as Smidt, Lamorne Morris as Winston and Hannah Simone as Cece. In the show, they play quirky roommates working through their day-to-day lives and problems. Jess is very silly and laid-back and Smidt is conceited. These characters are all very different and don’t always get along with each other, but things somehow go smoothly for these roommates. To me, the show balances it all, in an amusing and entertaining way.

New Girl got two Golden Globe Award nominations and countless positive reviews. The same will most likely go for season two of New Girl as well, considering it has gotten off to a great start with exciting new drama. Spoiler alert: the viewers are questioning Jess and Nick’s relationship and the tension between Schmidt and Cece after Schmidt figures out she has a new boyfriend. Not only that but, Jess has met someone new and Winston is having trouble with his girlfriend. And what is going to happen with Jess’s unemployment problem? In the first episodes of Season 1, she was fired from her teaching job, which has left her searching for work!
