Jonathan Gomez, one of the many excellent chefs at Café M has been working at Marlborough for around three months. He considers himself very family-oriented and has been able to bond well with the rest of the Café M staff. Gomez’s job is to help put together hot breakfast, lunch and the snack at 1:40 p.m. 

Q: What is an interesting fact about yourself? 

Jonathan Gomez, one of the many excellent chefs at Café M has been working at Marlborough for around three months. He considers himself very family-oriented and has been able to bond well with the rest of the Café M staff. Gomez’s job is to help put together hot breakfast, lunch and the snack at 1:40 p.m. 

Q: What is an interesting fact about yourself? 

Gomez: “An interesting fact about myself is that I have over six hundred Funko Pop collectibles! I love them all, but my favorites are the Marvel ones, for sure.”

Q: Can you tell me about your family? 

Gomez: “I have three brothers and one sister, and they are all younger than me.” 

Q: Do you have any pets? 

Gomez: “Yes! I have a seven-year-old Beagle/Boston Terrier mix named Buster and a chihuahua mix named Phoebe who’s four. I also have a two year-old-cat named Moody and a three year-old-cat named Chester.”  

Q: What are your hobbies?

Gomez: “I love watching sports, especially football. My favorite team is the Stingers.”  

Q: Do you have any passions? 

Gomez: “I love cooking and my favorite food to cook is Asian food. I really like making chow mein and orange chicken.”

Q: What is your favorite part of the Marlborough community? 

Gomez: “The staff for sure. They are so easy to get along with and are very friendly. The staff here makes me feel so comfortable and  at home.

Q: What was your favorite subject in school?

Gomez: “English. I really enjoyed reading and my favorite book is probably `Always Running.’ ” 

Q: What did you do before working at Marlborough?

Gomez: “Before Marlborough I worked at another all-girls school nearby!”

Q: Any special talents or skills?

Gomez: “I drum! I’ve been drumming for eight years, and my favorite thing to play is Metallica because they are my favorite band.”
