Lina Sarkissian is a new Café M chef at Marlborough, and although she only started this August with many of her other coworkers at Sage Dining, she is already an essential part of the Café M staff. She helps prepare breakfast, lunch and the afternoon dessert for all of the Marlborough community to enjoy. 

Q: How would you describe yourself?

Sarkissian: “I think two great words to describe myself are hardworking and honest.”

Q: How long have you been cooking?

Sarkissian: “I have been cooking with my grandmother and mother ever since I was little, but I didn’t start cooking professionally until 12 years ago.”

Q: Do you have any pets?

Sarkissian: “Yes! I have a 12-year-old Poodle/Beagle Mix, and I got her when she was three months old. I love her so much, and sometimes I travel with her. In fact, she has been to San Francisco three times.”

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

Sarkissian: “One of my favorite things to do in my free time is board games, especially Everdell. I also really like camping, and I try to go with my family every summer! Another thing I love to do is travel!”
