Ben and Jerry’s is one of my favorite ice cream brands, although I have only tried a couple of flavors. I mean, it’s called, “the oasis of ice cream euphoria”! Even though other ice cream brands such as Haagen Dazs and Dreyer’s are delicious, only Ben and Jerry’s has such a vast assortment of ridiculously creative flavors that taste amazing.
Ben and Jerry’s has almost 100 flavors. Pretty daunting, I know. Some of my personal favorites are Half Baked (Chocolate & Vanilla Ice Creams with Fudge Brownies & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) and Mint Chocolate Cookie (Peppermint Ice Cream with Chocolate Sandwich Cookies). If you are a chocolate lover like myself, I highly recommend trying Chocolate Fudge Brownie, which is better than any other chocolate-flavored ice cream in my opinion. If you love coffee, I’d suggest trying Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz.
Some weirder flavors include Cannoli, (Mascarpone Ice Cream with Fudge Covered Cannoli Pastry Shell Chunks and a Mascarpone Swirl), Smores, which contains actual toasted marshmallows, and Imagine Whirled Peace, which has fudge pieces in the shape of peace signs.
Although Ben and Jerry’s ice cream shops are not very common in Los Angeles, you can find an array of Ben and Jerry’s flavors at grocery stores such as Vons, Ralphs, and Gelson’s. There are approximately nine scoop shop locations in the Los Angeles area, some of which are located in Santa Monica, Long Beach and Sherman Oaks.
Ben and Jerry’s also strives to please their customers. Their mission statement is “to make, distribute and sell the finest quality all natural ice cream and euphoric concoctions with a continued commitment to incorporating wholesome, natural ingredients and promoting business practices that respect the Earth and the Environment.”
If you are looking for a party booster, Ben and Jerry’s even offers catering to spice up any one of your events, where you can order ice cream, shakes or sundaes.
You can even order custom ice-cream cakes from Ben and Jerry’s with your preferred flavor, using their online cake creater.
