The fifth annual DineLA Restaurant Week, a two-week dining event throughout Los Angeles County, was held from Jan. 29 through Feb. 3.
During DineLA, foodies had the opportunity to eat a specially priced three-course meal for lunch and/or dinner at Los Angeles restaurants. Lunches were fixed at either $16, $22 or $28 while dinners were $26, $34 or $44.
Although each restaurant designed its own creative menu, all DineLA dinners included three options for each course including appetizers, entrees and desserts.
This year, DineLA collaborated with over 300 participating restaurants ranging from critically-acclaimed wine bar and restaurant AOC (where the Head Chef is an Alumna) to fresh-market Mexican restaurant Border Grill.
In all, the main objective of DineLA is to spread awareness about local eateries and stimulate business for local restaurants. Considering how expensive fine dining is in LA, I hope visitors and residents took advantage of this cheaper but equally delicious food!
