The brownie recipe that slays all other brownie recipes

I love brownies more than anything in the whole world. I could eat brownies for every single meal every single day and die before I ever got sick of them. Throughout my life, I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect brownie, searching through store-bought varieties, homemade recipes, and dry mixes. Now, at last, I think I’ve finally found the ultimate brownie recipe, and I am going to spare you all the hard work of searching for it.

This recipe comes from a place you would least expect: the inside of a box of chocolate. While most recipes on the sides of cereal boxes, chip bags, and other food items really suck (“You’re really going to try to get me to make a Doritos crab cakes?!”), Baker’s Unsweetened Chocolate Squares really do it right. Their “Baker’s One-Bowl Brownies” are incredibly easy and fast to make and absolutely delicious. I have frequently baked up a batch of these and hid them deep  in the pantry so that my siblings wouldn’t get to them.

So, here’s the recipe. You really should try it because it will make every other brownie recipe cower in shame.

Ingredients:

4 (1 ounce) squares of Baker’s unsweetened chocolate

¾ cup butter

2 cups white sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

Directions:

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

-Microwave chocolate and butter in a large bowl on high for 2 minutes in 30 second intervals, or until butter is melted

-Stir until chocolate is fully melted.

-Stir in sugar.

-Mix in eggs and vanilla.

-Stir in flour

-Pour batter out into greased loaf pan

-Bake for about 25-40 minutes, making sure not to overcook

My special tip is to take the brownies out before they’re fully done, because they taste even better when they are left with gooey centers.

Enjoy!
