Let’s set the scene. It’s Saturday at 6 p.m. and you’re craving linguini with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese at your favorite restaurant, but then you remember you’re trying to save money. Why dine out, when you can dine in? Our carefully crafted guide to fine dining at home has you covered. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, here’s a five-course meal to satisfy your taste buds without leaving the house. To find the exact recipes for these dishes, try searching them on Google!

To begin your fine dining experience, try a classic and effortless bruschetta. This grilled bread paired with olive oil, salt and diced tomatoes provides the ultimate dining adventure for the taste buds. This timeless appetizer is the perfect first course for any restaurant goer.

For the second course, indulge in some tasty pasta topped with a vodka sauce. Grab your favorite pasta shape (to be even fancier, you can purchase some fresh pasta!), a pint of marinara sauce, one-fourth cup of butter and three ounces of vodka. Remember to set the heat to high to burn off the alcohol. This iconic dish is simple and never disappoints.

Another main dish you could try is lemon rosemary chicken. The meal is delicious, with the lemon and rosemary adding a fresh feel to the dish. This recipe does require a bit of time for the chicken to marinate, so be sure to take the extra time into account before choosing to make this dish. The chicken is a simple and trustworthy plate that is perfect to make for your next night at home!

Following the lemon rosemary chicken, cleanse your palette with a delectable strawberry basil lemonade. This drink is the perfect balance between fresh and sugary and is sure to elevate your fine dining experience to the next level. Not only is lemonade easy to make, but it requires few ingredients, making it the perfect drink to pair with any dish for your dining extravaganza.

What’s fine dining without dessert? To start the dessert portion of your dinner, a personal favorite dish of mine is tiramisu. The Italian dish consists of heavy whipping cream, mascarpone, espresso, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and ladyfingers. The recipe only takes 10 minutes to make and will leave you satisfied.

To finish the triumphant success of this meal, help yourself to a yogurt parfait, topped with the leftover strawberries from the lemonade. In addition to being super tasty, yogurt has lots of calcium and vitamins to help your physical health. This classy dessert will surely leave you satisfied after your meal. Bon appetit!
