Marlbituaries: farewell to our beloved family

Chris Colthart

Chris Colthart worked at Marlborough for five years as Associate Director of Design & Communications. He produced “Marlborough Today,” a magazine that went out to all members of the Marlborough community. He also oversaw the yearbook production as yearbook instructor for the 2015-2016 school year. During the 2016-2017 school year, Colthart will teach English and debate at the Sequoyah School in Pasadena.

Andrea Drobnick

Andrea Drobnick celebrated her 10th anniversary at Marlborough during the 2015-2016 school year. She taught Middle School history at the School and will continue teaching history at Brentwood School this year. She served as a Middle School advisor and worked with the California Scholarship Federation program, which recognizes academic excellence in students residing in California.

Michael Rindge

Michael Rindge taught history and social sciences at Marlborough since 2012, including classes such as Advanced Placement United States History and Advanced Placement World History. Rindge also led Caswell Scholars classes on mindfulness and meditation. He will continue teaching history at Campbell Hall starting in the 2016-2017 school year, where his son, Jude, will soon be attending.

Paul Fang

Paul Fang taught Upper School physics and eighth grade science at Marlborough during the 2014-2016 school years; he recently accepted a job teaching science at Los Altos High School in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District for the 2016-2017 school year.  Teaching at Los Altos will allow for a shorter commute so that Fang can spend more time with his family, including his daughter, Moriah.

David Collicutt

David Collicutt worked at Marlborough as Athletic Director for 17 years. He began working as the Athletic Director at UCLA’s Geffen Academy in August 2016. During his time at Marlborough, Collicutt added three sports teams to the School: water polo, golf and lacrosse. He also added two athletic trainers, a strength and conditioning coach and an office assistant to the Athletic Office.
