New kids on the block: Marlborough welcomes new faculty to the school community

Andrea Fuentes

Andrea Fuentes will be teaching Spanish IA and Spanish III Honors this year. She previously taught French and Spanish at Del Toledo High School and Campbell Hall. A graduate of UCLA and the Columbia University Teachers College, she also attended the Université Michel De Montaigne in Bordeaux, France.

Gina Kelly

Gina Kelly is substituting for Ms. Dean while she is on maternity leave for approximately the first six weeks of the year. She will be teaching Visual Arts while she works on her M.F.A. in Studio Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has also studied at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.

Jenna Corliss

Jenna Corliss will be teaching U.S. History this year. She is a graduate of Brown University and UC San Diego. Prior to her position at Marlborough, she taught at Sage Hill School in Newport Beach, and she also worked as an English teacher in Korea. In her spare time, Corliss is a long distance runner.

Lee Hamil

Lee Hamill is currently working on her Ph.D. in Materials Science from USC, but along with that will be teaching AP Physics C and Exploring Science II this year. A graduate from Boston University, she most recently has been teaching math and science at Fusion Academy Los Angeles.

Daniel Lynch

Daniel Lynch will teach Global Connections I and Modern World History this year. Prior to joining the Marlborough community, he worked at UCLA teaching history as a department K-12 outreach coordinator and a university supervisor of student teachers of history-social science. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley, CSU Long Beach and UCLA.

David Sainsily

David Sainsily will teach AP French, French II, French III, and Honors French Literature and Cinema. In addition to French and English, he also speaks Spanish, Portuguese and Creole. A graduate of the University of Paul Valéry in France, Sainsily has most recently worked at Winward as a French and global studies teacher.  π
