Peyton led his previous team, the Indianapolis Colts, to a Super Bowl Championship in 2007. He is known by his nickname “The Sheriff” because of his pre-snap routine that involves using a variety of gestures and commands to call the play at the line of scrimmage, rather than in a huddle. Before a game, Manning always eats grilled chicken, a bowl of pasta, a baked potato, broccoli and Gatorade.
Elisha “Eli” Manning: Eli Manning, the younger brother of Peyton Manning and son of Archie Manning, is an NFL quarterback for the New York Giants. Eli Manning holds the NFL record for most fourth quarter touchdown passes in a season, and he led the Giants to two Super Bowl victories, in 2008 and 2012. While he was in high school, Manning was recruited to play football, basketball, and baseball in college; he chose to play football for the University of Mississippi.
Aaron Rodgers: Aaron Rodgers is an NFL quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers played college football at the University of California, Berkeley and was drafted by the Packers in 2005. Joseph “Joe” Flacco: Joe Flacco is an NFL quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football at the University of Delaware until he was drafted by the Ravens in 2008. Teammates call Flacco “Joe Cool” because of his ability to remain calm during games and his arm strength; he supposedly has the strongest arm in the NFL.
Drew Brees: Drew Brees is an NFL quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. He played football at Purdue University and was drafted to the San Diego Chargers in 2001. He led the Saints to a Super Bowl Championship in 2009. Along with his wife, Brees founded the Brees Dream Foundation, in 2003. The foundation, which is dedicated to raising money for the children of New Orleans, has raised over $17 million in contributions, to date. Interestingly, Brees is left-handed but throws with his right arm.
