Athletic Director Brandon Lincoln is creating a more accessible and informative website to highlight Marlborough athletics for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. Last year, Lincoln attended a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) summit for athletic directors. There, he was inspired to increase viewership and exposure with a new website showcasing Marlborough athletics.
Lincoln’s website will provide easily accessible information about Marlborough sporting events and be comparable to other high schools’ athletics sites.
“[The website] will give our community a better chance to connect with our athletic programs,” Lincoln said. “It will also allow us to present athletics in a way that is aligned with our competitors.”
Furthermore, the website will include important information about schedule updates and championships for all Marlborough sports. Lincoln based the website off of the JSerra Catholic High School’s athletics website.
“We will have a reel for every athletic team so that they’re all represented,” Lincoln said.
Lincoln is enthusiastic about this step for the Athletic Department. He explained that his favorite part of being the athletic director at Marlborough has always been attending the sporting events.
“Being able to see teams compete, that makes all of the desk work meaningful for me,” Lincoln said.
The site is scheduled to launch by mid-October and can be found on Marlborough’s website. From there, you can click on the athletics section to be redirected to the site.
Many members of the Marlborough athletic team were involved in building this website. Lincoln acknowledged the work put into it by Athletics Assistant Jassmine Kezman, Coach Nicki Holmes, Assistant Athletic Director Jessica Romero, the Communications Department and the support of the Athletics Department.
Students are also ready for the many changes that the website will bring to the Marlborough athletics community.
“I am so excited to see how the website will aid unrepresented teams, and I think it’ll have a huge impact for the athletics community,” Sonia ’26 said.
