Amid the gaining popularity in Los Angeles in recent years, vegan restaurants have become a hotspot for both vegans and non-vegans who enjoy vegan cuisine.  Although I am not a vegan, I love vegan restaurants. Here are some of the best vegan restaurants in Los Angeles that I have been to:

Vegan Thai — The best part about this Santa Monica restaurant is that you can get the Thai food with a kick that you love and still follow your Vegan lifestyle. One of my favorite things to order at this restaurant is  the Pad Thai, though I don’t recommend getting it with fake shrimp. I also love the

tofu satay, and Panaeng tofu curry (a little too spicy.)  Not only does this restaurant have great food they also have really great healthy juices to complement your meal.

The Veggie Grill — This chain restaurant is located all over LA.  They use lots of fake meat, but their fake meat is really great! They also have great iced tea! Some of my favorite items to order at Veggie Grill are the Bali Bliss (with tempeh), the savory kale caesar salad, and the crispy cauliflower.

Gracias Madre — This is an amazing vegan Mexican restaurant on Melrose, run by the same people who own Café Gratitude (another Vegan restaurant). I have only been to this restaurant a couple times, but here are some of my favorite things: bowl uno (the guacamole is amazing), the black bean burger, and for breakfast, the French toast and avocado toast.
